House Rules

Check-in 3pm and Check-out 10am.

Pets Not Allowed.

No Shoes Allowed. We ask that all shoes are removed downstairs and for guests to avail of our complimentary slippers.

Smoking is Not Allowed Indoors. However, smoking is permitted in the outdoor deck area.

No Food or Drinks in the Bedrooms.

No Private Parking. However, there is free street parking available in 2hr time slots right outside, or a free 24hr public car park a short walk away.

Occupancy for the house higher than the number of beds is by prior arrangement only.

Additional Information
On arrival, you will be asked for a security deposit of €250 which must be paid in cash to the owner on key collection. This will be refunded provided there are no breakages / damages on your departure.

On departure, the house, equipment and utensils must be left in a clean and tidy condition.

The price includes bed linen, towels and all other household linen, as well as a starter pack of fuel for the wood burning stove.

Sufficient laundry, cleaning products and paper products will be provided for your initial arrival.

An allowance for oil heating has been made which equates to a total of 4 hours use per day. Should the overall usage be more than this, an additional fee will apply. (Please note that a meter reading will be taken on arrival and at departure).

All cleaning costs are included for stays of 7 days or more. For stays less than 7 days, a cleaning fee of €100 will be an additional charge at the time of booking.

You have the option to avail of our ‘Mid-Stay’ cleaning service, which includes one change of bed linen. A Mid-Stay Clean is an additional €100 and must be pre-booked.

We love children but feel that we are not the most child friendly establishment due to the height and number of stairs. Cots, if required, are to be booked in advance at no extra charge.

A Grocery and Bar Shopping List will be available upon booking so we have all your necessities in stock when you arrive.

Potential for Noise – As the property is located in the town centre there may be general street noise. There is also a disco next door which may lead to residual noise at the weekends.


The following are just some of the processes we have in place to ensure you have a safe and special stay with us.

Hand-sanitizer stations have been set up at the entrance to the property. Guests required to use it upon entry.

We are asking all guests to preregister all parties in advance of your stay as recommended by Government Guidelines, and to aid in the process of contact tracing if necessary.

We are offering check-in and check out options specifically for your needs to minimise employee contact.

We are putting in place housekeeping facilities tailored to your comfort and working within the Government and Failte Ireland Safety Charter Guidelines

Every member of staff will continue to be provided with ongoing training in safety, sanitizing and physical distancing protocols

We have increased our frequency of cleaning and disinfection of all areas within the property, with special attention to high touch points in line with recommendations from HSE.

We have elevated our sanitization of all areas of the property including bedrooms and removed all non-essential items such as magazines, books and paper products.

All linen will be laundered professionally to temperatures over 60 degrees.

All team members will use PPE in high risk areas and when conducting cleaning.

Social distancing signage will be in place to provide you with guidance

We will continue to monitor the evolving situation, and we will keep our policies under review, with the latest recommendations and requirements set out by the Government.

We have a Action plan in place should we be notified of a suspected case within the property or among guests in line with HSE and HSA guidelines.

Our staff have completed the Failte Ireland Safety Charter training and are ready to welcome you safely.


This is a difficult time for all of us as we are not sure what the situation will be for the next few months/years and what travel restrictions will be in place. We are keeping a close eye on the situation as it changes each day.

Before you book, we ask that you check and understand the governments framework of restrictive measures for both the region you are leaving & Cork.

Options if your booking is affected due to travel restrictions, positive test or localised lockdowns:
If your holiday is not affected due to covid, the standard T&Cs apply.

Change the date:
You can change the date of your booking.

If you need to cancel due to Government Covid travel restrictions or a Positive Covid Test (we will need proof of this), you will have up until TWO WEEKS prior to your arrival date in which to do so and we will refund your payment. This cancellation policy is for any bookings made after January 2021.

If you cancel for any other reason:
o 50% Refund of total cost if you cancel at least 8 weeks before Check in .
o 25% refund of total cost if you cancel at least 4 weeks before check in.
o You can cancel within 24 hours for free provided your stay is at least 60 days away….
